Why DreamBig
We all have those crazy dreams and I believe that they should never fade, so always DreamBig in your life. Our Big Dream, is to own beautiful Samoyeds (Sammies), hence our Kennel Club Affix is DreamBig.
We are a small Samoyed breeder in UK, nestled within beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. With 15 years of breed ownership, comes with high levels of experience, therefore we are always happy to share our knowledge in Samoyeds. This website will purely serve as a purpose of personal photo albums to celebrate the beauty and achievements of our Sammies, as well as Samoyed blogs relating to breed information from owners perspectives.
Our Samoyeds contain some of the best Pedigrees in UK, Europe and Best Samoyeds in the world, a real mixture of exceptional pedigrees, these are open for you to view and analyse. However this may be just our opinion, so make up the mind for yourself. We perform high levels of health testing on our Samoyeds prior to breeding such as hips, elbows, eyes and several genetic tests, when possible which is something you should always consider when breeding or purchasing your Samoyed.
Occasionally we do have Samoyed puppies available from when we breed, to keep our beautiful and healthy lines going, so feel free to enquire or simply scroll through to gain more Samoyed information, or just sit back and enjoy the feel good photos of our Samoyeds.
Our Ethos: PASSION FOR SAMOYEDS
We do not believe that these magnificent and highly intelligent companions should be kept in kennels. Samoyeds are true people dogs, with their own personalities, who want to love and to be loved and we understand that.
Kennelled dogs frequently develop stereotypical behaviours such as excessive barking, whining, pacing, walking in circles, tail chasing, coprophagy (eating of own faeces), general unsettledness, biting of legs and fur and many other undesirable repetitive behaviours. These are usually caused by frustration and stress, due to being kept in solitary confinement.
This is why we do not keep our dogs in kennels, they all live closely amongst us in the house and have full roam like true royalties. Dogs kept in kennels simply cannot express the full array of natural behaviours and unfortunately they could pass on some of those above listed traits to their puppies. Which may become a real issue that is difficult to deal with. You do not want your dog to have such issues.
JOIN OUR EXCITING OUTTINGS AND ACTIVITIES NOW
We show all over the country, including Crufts. We also sometimes offer free tickets to our friends. We participate in agility and we do plenty of obedience training with our beloved Samoyed companions.
We do meet and greet in person: so why not join us on our pack walks or Samoyed meets?
We also organise our own DREAMBIG Samoyed meets (exclusively for our friends only)
We are all about our Sammy community and this is why we held our members only Autumn Samoyed meet. We hired a fantastic venue with full facilities, including an enclosed dog play field, where we all released the dogs without worrying about them all disappearing into the horizon. We had a mixture of age groups, where most dogs got on absolutely fine, as we pride ourselves on the sound temperaments of all our dogs.
